- At Sunsundegui we have started to recruit professional profiles.
- It responds to the need to increase staffing levels to meet the Volvo project.
- It is part of the actions defined within the framework of the public-private partnership that is being coordinated by the Department of Economic and Business Development, through Sodena, and is also working on the study of land and facilities and on the line of financial support in view of the planned production expansion.
In order to cope with the increase in the number of employees involved in the Volvo project, Sunsundegui, together with the Navarre Employment Service (SNE) and the Planning and Integration of Vocational Training Service of the Government of Navarre, has launched a program for the selection and training of professional profiles for the recruitment of qualified personnel.
Specifically, recruitment has begun for the four professional profiles in demand (electricity, painting, welding and assembly) through the SNE offices in Alsasua and Pamplona. All interested persons can register through the various means provided by the SNE itself and send their curriculum vitae through the following links:

At the same time, we are working on the elaboration of training/qualification programs to be developed in different facilities of the Government of Navarra, which will start at the end of August with all those pre-selected.
These are theoretical and practical training courses with a hiring commitment that will allow for the correct integration of the people selected into Sunsundegui’s production process. We plan to start hiring immediately after the end of the professional qualification program, so those interested persons who have sent their curriculum before July will be able to access the first selection of personnel.

On May 4, Sunsundegui signed a historic pre-agreement with Volvo Bus under which it assumes the manufacture of two of the Swedish automaker’s latest-generation bus models (the top-of-the-line 9700 and 9900 models) starting in 2024. The agreement with Volvo bus implies for Sunsundegui the adaptation of its facilities and staff for the technological and supply transfer contemplated in the agreement between the two companies.
The Government of Navarre, Sunsundegui and Volvo Bus are working hand in hand on a project considered strategic for the region of Navarre.
